1. Who we are

CarsMonkeys is operated by Dynamic Software Development LLC ("CarsMonkeys", "we", "us"). This policy explains what information we collect when you use our marketplace, how we use it, and the choices you have.

2. Information we collect

Account information: name, email address, and, if provided, phone number and zip code.

Authentication data: a securely hashed password, or, if you sign in with Google or Apple, an identifier and email address supplied by that provider. We never receive or store your Google or Apple password.

Listing content: vehicle details, descriptions, and photos you upload, which are stored via Cloudflare Images.

Communications: messages exchanged with other users through our in-app messaging, and support requests sent to us.

Payment information: subscription and billing details are processed by Stripe. We store a Stripe customer reference and subscription status, but we do not store your full card number.

Usage information: basic activity such as listing views and account status, used to operate and improve the marketplace.

3. How we use your information

To create and secure your account, including sign-in via email/password or through Google/Apple.

To operate the marketplace: publish listings, connect buyers and sellers, and deliver messages and notifications.

To process payments and manage subscriptions through Stripe.

To send transactional emails, such as password resets and account notifications.

To maintain the safety of the platform, including reviewing reported listings or accounts.

4. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers that help us run CarsMonkeys, and only to the extent necessary:

Stripe, for payment processing and subscription billing.

Cloudflare, for image hosting and delivery.

Our email delivery provider, for transactional emails.

Google and Apple, only if you choose to sign in with those providers, to verify your identity.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and property of CarsMonkeys and our users.

5. Cookies and sessions

We use a single, essential session cookie to keep you signed in. It is httpOnly and cannot be read by JavaScript. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

6. Data retention and deletion

We retain account and listing data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, it is deactivated and no longer accessible publicly; you may request permanent deletion by contacting support@dynsd.com.

7. Your rights

You can access and update most of your account information from your dashboard at any time. You may also contact us to request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to legal and legitimate business requirements (such as completed transaction records).

8. Children's privacy

CarsMonkeys is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date below.
